They aren't too thin, but are light. They are comfortable and waistband is comfortable. The really good news is that they wash well!

These are so well made! They are a little generously sized, but that's a good thing since they aren't going to wear out. They fit her with some room to spare - they're a little better after washing. The waist is elastic with a drawstring tie. Great pockets.
